How to ask perfect questions to Tarot?

Tarot and its cards are connected to the Divine spiritual world. But these cards cannot give you perfect answers unless you know to ask the perfect questions.

If questions are shooted vaguely out of ignorance, then cards will shoot out some random prophecy. Which you wont be able to relate to.

So its very important that while learning to ask perfect questions to the Tarot. Also you might want this another article on what type of questions to avoid.

If you have a million dollar gadget that can do just anything technical in this world. But if you dont know how to use it, which buttons to use and which buttons to use with caution. Then that gadget will not be used upto its full capacity. Maybe you might not even operate it, fearing screwing it up. Similarly you will not be able to use the full power of Tarot cards if you don’t know to ask the right questions.

Lets get into this, then what questions to ask - 

There are various points to consider.

These are points for you, but what if you are doing readings for others? How to deal with people when you are charging them; and when they are asking wrong questions. I have seen resistance in people when they are paying you, and you ask them to alter their questions. That’s basically because of the following reasons…

• you are unknown that Psychics also have their own terms and conditions. You are under that impression that as Tarot Reading are Psychic’s work for welfare of people. Questions can be asked in any manner or any possible words you want.
• You might have notions and are going and asking questions based from the media. And that’s why you might tend to incline towards the way of asking to what you have seen on the T.V. or in a movie.
• You sometimes know certain things are not going to work and you cannot accept it. And so you will hesitate to change question. Because you are still wanting that thing to happen in your favor.
• You are totally ignorant and maybe this is your first time you have been reading your cards and so are clueless about what questions to ask.

Well you see you rarely know methods of Professional Psychics when you begin learning something, and that’s perfectly okay. Everybody is there sometime or the other. If you are doing reading for others. And want to read for them then too asking perfect questions is necessary. Otherwise you know cards will pop one after the other and leave you more and more confused. 

Whether you are a beginner and reading for yourself  or you maybe a seasoned professional who reads for others as well. These rules apply to both.

Well stay tight, and be ready to gulp this bitter truth down. If you don’t want to change your questions, then you have these possibilities. If you are reading for other’s and if they disagree to change their question/s then tell them this, before you do any further reading. 

- readings might/will go inaccurate 

- you will not get satisfaction or fuller answers

- It will be a time & energy waster. 

- Reading will not mean anything and will confuse you.

Well when these three things go into the jar then automatically your mindset will shift and you will be ready to tweak your questions. Same is with other’s. People will agree to tweak when they learn this(well some might still stay firm on not changing).  Changes are important and need to be done. What’s the point taking in questions that are just vague and pointless and are not asked with the perfect intent for your future.

So how to ask perfect questions?

Yes, there you are. Tarot is a way to predict future. God has given us freewill to do anything we want. And also bestowed the various methods of Future seeing that can help us guide to do whatever you want from your life. This might sound too positive and motivational statement like. But its true, not just for Tarot but for all other future-seeing methods as well. 

Points to consider, on how to frame perfect questions:

1. See whether the question is hopelessly asked, that has no hope.
2. Whether the question is a Yes/No question. Well that yes and No even a kid can answer. You need better questions to ask from Divinely guided Tarot Readings.
3. Is the question been asked out of negative emotions?
4. Is it a judgemental question? These questions will work. But with a little bit of caution
5. Does it abide by the Universal Law?

I know you got everything in the above guidelines except the Universal Law. What the Heck is this Universal Law now? Yeah I know. I am going to explain that in a moment now. That’s why I have mentioned it here.

Universal Law that applies to all Humans - 

• You can only help when someone asks for it. You cannot forcefully offer your solutions, if somebody isn’t ready to accept it.
• If you try to get into lives of others, who want to keep things secret from you. Then you break this law.
• Diving into other people’s minds, life, and energy with your Psychic abilities is sinful if you do it without their permission. 

What happens when you break this law/s?

Well as with all law breaking, there is punishment involved. So is it here as well. You will be punished in anyway. Best way is you will not get clear answers in your reading.

If the other person has strong intentions to stay away from you then delving into their energy will prove to be confusing in your Tarot readings. You will not get clear answers and will not be able to come out at a particular outcome. 

And majority of problems occur when you are not ready to change your focus and expect a particular outcome in your way.

Do this When there are Yes/ No Questions  - 

There will be a number of times when you face this types of questions. I bet you will mostly ask such questions or get this question 75% of the time. Well shake that off, Tarot is much more then that. 

Most of the time the question can be altered into a better one and can be used to deeped the reading. 

But there will be times when you dont want to alter the question, because getting the YES/NO is very much important. In that case you need to keep it that way. 

Here some examples of wrong questions, and how to correct them -

I am sure once you go through these, and understand them. You will be easily able to figure out how to frame your own questions. 

e.g- 1

Wrong Question - Do you think I should do this?

This is a yes/no question. Change this.

Check whether the person really wants to do it or not. and if they are sure then check why they are expecting a no as an answer. Then reframe it.

Corrected Question - I want to do this, which is the best way to do it successfully?

or I want to do this, is this the way to do it correctly to get good results?

e.g 2.-

Wrong question - What is going to happen in my future?

This is such a popular question to get asked. And you will feel like how difficult is it going to be for you to express the vast ocean of experiences that they are going to have. 

Instead cut chort. Ask them to ask sensible questions about things that really are their concern. 

Corrected Question - What is my future in my family relationships area?

or What is my future with my new job? Is it going to be stable and progressing?

e.g 3- 

Wrong Question - Does she love me? or Is he going to marry me?

Well this question has so much of fear and insecurities to smell. When that person is asking a question about love-life you can already know that there is uncertainity here. And so they are asking that. 

Plus this is a question about someone, which involves Universal Law applicability. Should be attempted only with other person’s permission.

Correct Question - (after permission of the other person.)

Does Sue have any feelings for me? Does she look at me the same way I look at her?

Does he have same feelings for me, like I have for him?

How can we both make our marriage possible, how do we plan for it?

78 Soul Phases every Human goes through

Tarot is not just a pack of cards, it shows the journey of Soul Phases that every human goes through their life on this planet. If you are an ardent Tarot lover I am sure you know this. Maybe not the exact definition but roughly the fact that Tarot isn’t just fluff. 

Tarot Cards were found around the 1450 century, exact origin isn’t yet known. This fact itself makes Tarot a lot more mystical and interesting.  

There are 78 cards in Tarot Pack as you might know. If you don’t know its okay, you already know it now :) . These 78 cards correspond with a phase in the life of human soul. And this phase somewhere or the other contributes to the growth and evolution of that soul. 

The Major Arcana Cards show major changes and turns in a Soul Phase. Let’s quickly see what each card means in the journey of the Fool. If you want to know in detail about the Journey of Soul with Tarot, go here to get my book.

1. Magician - Shows the newborn human a Soul Phase of containing magic within himself. And the urge to play with that magic to bring about Magic into the world
2. High Priestess - Shows the newborn a Soul Phase of having the Intuition as its ultimate reliable guide during their life on earth.
3. The Empress - Well new borns need a mommy right? mommies are always accompanied with the infinite abundantia energy. And so all that a mommy knows the newborn will need. Will be available to her.
4. The Emperor - Phew, a baby gets spoilt with too much pampering from mom right? It needs the discipline and order from the father as well. Not to mention the loving nurture a father provides along with that.
5. The Hierophant - Momy and Dady cannot be everything, and so the baby has a Soul Phase of having a Teacher in its life. Who will teach him/her the lessons of life and how to live it. Includes normal world schooling plus real time lessons that a soul learns.
6. Lovers - Aha, so now the human has grown! Ehh… Its adolescent now, and knows that he/she needs to get someone that completes them. An important Soul Phase.
7. Chariot - Viola, the partners are all set with their new life together, now the journey of facing the world begins riding on their own Chariot.
8. Strength - Woah! facing this big bad world now seems difficult. Soul now learns that what daddy and mommy said was true, you will know when you grow up. But now that Soul is grown up he needs to face it with extraordinary Strength.
9. Hermit - So in all the chaos that now the soul is going through, he needs calm and introspective moments too. Where he can go within himself and learn to listen to his own voice. When the outside voices try to get over him. Meditate ohh Soul!
10. Wheel of Fortune - Bump and here he goes, something turns up his life all of a sudden and he is either at the top of success or depth of failure. But a soul surely needs to see both these phases in life to GROW.
11. Justice - Law of Karma starts showing its deep roots with life of human. Good or Bad, law of karma knows to show up at right place. Showing the existance of Justice as the universal law. Things will be just to you when you have been just to things.
12. Hanged man- Boom, why isn’t life moving forward? Sweetheart when your Spiritual growth is stuck and in its infancy. Life will also get STUCK. Solution? keep moving ahead on your spiritual path.
13. Death - Gloom takes over, the Soul Phase takes a human through the most difficult and painful phase of human life. Loosing someone that’s dear to his/her heart. Life and Death are big truths of life, soul learns this through EXPERIENCE.
14. Temperance - Hmm so do you think death of a dear one is end of life? No man, you still need to keep going. When such huge wave slams your inner balance, universe shows a warning signal “Heya maintain your balance, you are still alive”
15. Devil - So now life seems like an unavoidable and unbreakable bond right? That makes you miserable and unescapable when you want to just run away from a particular situation?That’s the messy slush of the Devil. Devil makes it appear that way. @#$%& Where is he? INSIDE YOU!
16. Tower - And down goes the tower of trust and beliefs that you had built in your life, based on your experience and teachings of your elders and schooling during childhood. Real Truth is sharp, bare and severely bitter. Your options? None other then to accept it, maybe with time it will get easy.
17. Star - Learn to heal and let go with this star. Tower was harsh, so there’s always healing sent towards you immediately after the hurt brought in by the tower. Life is tricky but it is never brutally rude. You have all good things as well to serve you.
18. The Moon - Things seem to have sorted right? Well not yet, darkness and the light of the moon in it cannot make things appear crystal clear. Things may not seem the way they appear, you know that. This phase comes in when you terribly want to make a quick decision.
19. The Sun - And the darkness is finally away bringing in the Sun. Let some sunshine in baby. Life is really good. Clarity and positivity at its peak with the emerging of the Sun energy.
20. Judgement - Good or bad this is the time you are going to get in your life, as an effect of your past life’s karma. And remember that, its UNAVOIDABLE. Well it applies equally to everyone. And things will either be in your favour or against you. But somewhere in life you’re surely going to see this phase.
21. World - Yipieee so finally the soul has now Graduated from the Soul Phase school and gets the fruit of all the seeds he’d sown. It depends on how much a soul strived to live and be positive during all the different phases in his life.

16. Soul Phases with Relationships - 

Everything in life is about Relationships with people. As you are surrounded by people all over the world. That’s why you are on this planet. Whether its your health, wealth, relationships, career or spirituality everywhere you have to deal with People. 

To keep good health you need to have good relationships, when things go well in our life. Health stays good. Getting ill also involves bad relationships with people you love.  

Wealth whether you already have a lot or are planning to build. Relationships with people will help you to get there. Quality of your relationships with people at work and with your boss will decide your progress in your work life. 

Career is also about people. Dealing with life on this planet and working inorder to make life easy for people on this planet. Your life is all about helping and serving Humanity. And there somes the people again in picture in your life area. 

Relationships - your relationships whether with your family, at work, in neighbourhood or with your customers. Everywhere its dealing with people, people and people. 

Spirituality - And finally your area of spirituality. Whether you get into it willingly or unwillingly, its all because of People. Whether it might be for a good reason or a bad reason. 

So everyone of us is surrounded by people, whatever we are doing in our life. No matter what phase of life we are in. 

40 Soul Phase Spiral/Cycle that’s never ending - 

And then comes the never ending cycle of interaction of Soul with the four elements of life. Thus making endless loops of life incidences. These look easy and based on understanding of Tarot they feel tangible. But the interaction of The fool with each Soul Phase might be for a particular time. Which if followed with any card of Major Arcana would then become a Major life lesson and the duration and intensity of that situation might differ from person to person. 

And no two people will have the same experience in their life, even if they both have the same card coming up. Well same card combinations will never turn up for different people. Cards and their flow of combinations will always differ and vary from person to person.

How to read Tarot for yourself Effectively?

Reading tarot for yourself? bam... #$%&@* your greatest skills will baffle you when you try to do it for a very pressing issue of your life, where you want a quick answer to come asap. And you'll be like why the hell can't your cards be LOYAL to you when you need em the most…!! Even the bestest of Tarot Reader fail to read for themselves, because Tarot is something that talks to you through your intuition and your intuition goes haywire when you are tensed and stressed.

Well I too have fallen into this trap of doing Tarot for my own questions(ohh yess... most troubling questions) and hell yeah cards try to play fool with you when you need their guidance the most. With lots of months/ years into this I think I have figured out technique that will help to get best results with your readings. Well for you to master you might need to give the technique some finishing touches to make it work 100% effectively for you. Everybody is different and so things work different for all of us. What I have tried will work for most, but there might be some exceptional cases. 

I know this technique is time consuming, but this works. You might get irritated or frustrated to do such a lengthy process while you are anxious enough to get answers as soon as possible for your problems. But nothing in this universe works out of haste. You know haste makes waste. 

Slow and steady wins the race! 

So now let’s get started, first of all let me tell you that this is not a piece of cake. It will take you some effort and some brain-storming to get the perfect reading. But once you follow the protocol it will keep getting easier next time when you work out for yourself.  

First of all Get de-stressed, you need to be calmed down to get best and most accurate reading - 

• To de-stress yourself you can follow some deep breathing, once you are ready jump on your couch with your cards. Meditating before doing a reading is also a good idea.
• If that doesn’t help try to take a nap, have a stroll out in nature and then get back with your cards.
• If you are too stressed out, and stay that way for a couple of days. Then I would advice you not to touch your cards till your mind “cools down”.

1. Now once you are ready and cool in your mind, we’ll get set with the cards.

First of all few things to keep in mind. Before you do any readings you need to jot down your exact question/s. If you have one question then write it, if you have several following questions for that one question then write them too. If you have several different questions then write them all. 

2. Now once all questions are there with you. Then go back to your notes and tick all the ones that seem most challenging. And then try to write answers next to them. Positive answers that can come out as an outcome. And negative outcomes that may come out as the outcome/ result of that situation. 

3. Also jot down all the fears surrounding that situation. Any other negative emotions or thoughts if there, write them too.

Now study this Spread and then try to do it for yourself. Before you start reading, also ask the angels and guides to help you in that situation. 

Prayer is the best thing that will drain away all stressful energy, and use it to bring out best outcomes during your readings. Once you pray, trust that you are going to be guided during the  reading. 

Spread Positions for Tarot Reading for Self, effectively :

This spread would be long for you if issue at hand is just a minor one, you can try three card spread only if thats the case. You dont need this big spread when you have smaller issues. This is a typical spread for deeply troubling issues that are not straight as they appear. 

Part 1: Illusion Breaker The first part contains cards that actually show you cards that will describe the problem to you. In life many time we think too much or stress over too much over some issue. And that is where we just create a mental chaos. But this step will help you to figure out what the problem is according to you, and what it is actually. Which will make it mirror clean for you to see the difference about what you are seeing and whats actually happening. Part 1 is The illusion breaker part of your problem. Big problems bring big illusions as you don’t know what it is and how to handle them. 

Once you do that you get a bit of clarity of the problem. 

Part 2: Guidance When you are done with that, you then have your fears and setbacks. Ofcourse Humans are not made in a faulty way to give rise to unwanted fears at the time when courage is desperately needed. Human emotions are a guide to upcoming danger or uneasy circumstances. Ofcourse when too much is going on your emotions also get random and bombard a cocktail of em in the situation. But they are not at fault. Chill! Your emotions some of them are true, some are just a warning sign because you might be getting signalled that you are delving into some unknown area. Your mind and body is very comfortable and easy when everything happens within the comfort zone. When you step out of it, your mind and body will send you tons of signals of warning signs and danger signs, they are not always true. But its your body’s safety mode on, working for you. 

This part will help you to figure out how valid are your fears, which of them are useless. And which of them really matter and should be considered. Most of the time the fears which you consider will be about something that you don’t have knowledge and need to stay alert. As you might affect negatively if you dont polish the edges.

Part 3 is the outcome part : Again this spread is too long I know. But the major areas covered here are much smaller in size as to what mess it creates inside your mind. Well, this is better yah.. then!

Fears and insecurities inside mind also plays a huge role by dramatizing the outcome of a particular situation. and the outcomes of a problem are the one’s that are most stressful. Humans have a tendency to overly-dramatize their problem outcome and then feel stressed and depressed over what might happen. But read it again, it might happen. But that’s only one possibility. This part of the spread will dissolve all drama and will bring out the truth of the situaiton. 

This entire spread is designed to master any situation and help you calm and ease out, knowing what might happen. Also let me warn you because I have used easy and positive language doesn’t mean that you have to stay easy during that situation. some problems will show off danger signs, if you are getting some. Then you better stay super alert. If necessary try asking help from somebody who will be able to provide support during that situation. Sometimes fearing whether help will be offered or not is in itself a biggest fear during such situations.

Longer method - 

Try asking your angels to guide you during your sleep, in your dreams. And then jot down the dreams or signs that you receive. Once you wake-up do a reading, and then compare it to the messages you received during your dream.

Is the future set on stone? or you have freedom of choice?

Is the future set on stone? or you have freedom of choice?

Tarot and many other future telling methods somewhere create this illusion in minds of people that future is set and fixed and you just need to go to some fortune teller. Spend some money and then you’ll know what is your future. If it was that easy then all rich people would have known their future and never have fallen prey to falling economy or share market breakdowns.  

Well then is future not set? its not fixed, right? this question too is dwindled away if you believe that  destiny isn’t fixed. Well my job is not to make you believe that ‘future tellers’ are right and they should be depended upon. Neither my job is to make you ‘non-believer’, if you believe in it too much. I have been doing Tarot since more then 11+ years now and while doing readings for people I have learnt this…. people have this itch to know what’s in future for them. Plus the skeptics have a greater itch to know HOW a normal human like them can predict the future :D  

Its funny, I get some interesting peeps to argue about my profession. I have written this post for all the Tarot aspirants, so that you guys can know how to deal with this subject as you’re going to face this a lot. And believe me when I say A LOT. 

What is fortune telling all about? 

Future telling or fortune telling is all about peeping into the future and learning what’s coming up. 

Whatever is shown to you in future prediction is from the current activities you are doing. A part of Destiny in everybody’s life is fixed and pre-destined. The Soul’s Purpose is already chosen since birth. But each and every step and each and every breath isn’t fixed. 

That Soul’s Path is selected yet its our freewill whether we decide to walk upon it now or 10years later. So your future seer will predict different for you if you are walking on your soul’s path now. And the same future teller will vary in his predictions if you have decided to walk on your souls path 10 years later. 

That was about your Soul’s Purpose. Now if you have selected your Soul’s Path then too depending upon your current activities your future will differ. For example if you have brought with you 4 different Soul’s Purposes to complete, then its your choice which one you wanna work upon first and others later on. And Soul’s Purpose is always decided by a soul after their birth, as before birth programming is already forgotten. So what a soul plans and outlines from his pre-birth memory while being on this earthly plane will matter and will shape their future. 

Freewill a gift to Humans - Freewill is the gift to us humans. We can think, feel and decide whatever we want to do, based on how life is behaving with us. Well that’s the literal definition for this. But you know you cannot just decide and react based on what’s happening with you, else you are just going to be a puppet of outer circumstances. And this type of giving reaction might also make you do sins, as you are not always going to get good from the outer world. 

Maya the illusion of perception - Well this word Maya, now usually is found in almost every article I write lately since past 2-3years. Its because I have begun to realize it plays a huge role in our life. And sometimes it is fun to watch it make us dance. Whether you see good in the world or you see bad in the world. Its your way of seeing the world that’s going to affect your decisions, thoughts and actions. You will act based on your perception of what happened to you. And how you perceive this world and what it does to you, is in the hands of Maya. Miss Maya can make you think extremely positively and just let you get motivated and keep going ahead in life. Whereas the same maya can pull you down and not let you rise above your limits. This maya is layer where the Law of attraction works. But Maya is considered as Goddess according to Vedas. She is difficult to win over, but if you win she’ll love to show you her glory and divine dance. Maya is the layer where the mind works and physical/ material world comes into existence.

You might have heard some people who talk just rubbish or insane but whatever they say and believe somehow falls true and leaves you baffled?! Well some people can just see a lot more clearly past the veil of Maya. But we usually consider them crazy people. Well that too is the magic of Maya to make you NOT believe the ones who can see beyond maya. 

What does “freewill” mean, is it really to be used as Freewill? - 

Well the above description of Freewill will make you think that life’s is what we make it. Yes its all what we make it But you cannot choose to make it good/bad based on your freewill. This is destined there are only a few soul’s who can make life bad or become destructive. Not everyone can do that. And if you decide something that you aren’t ought to do then you will reap its effects. 

Freewill means whatever tasks you have brought to complete on this planet you can complete at your own pace, in your own style. But out of freewill you CANNOT choose to not do them, and walk around at leisure on this planet.

How do Fortune tellers & prophecizers come into picture then - 

Freewill matters and does exist. But still human behavior is usually fixed. And seldom does an adult change his behaviour. Human mind develops and is flexible during childhood. That’s when a child is learning and growing and programming their subconscious mind. Nothing is much fixed then and so children are very open and adjustive to every situation they are put in(this is why some future seers will tell you not to predict something for kids as their mind will solidify once they grow). Upto the age of 14-18years usual programming is done. After 20years a personality is fully developed. And a human behaves according to what experiences are stored in their subconscious mind.  

Once anything goes into subconscious mind, its difficult to get it out. And so that will become the mind set. And future can be predicted based upon that. Though there are methods to re-program subconscious mind still hardly 10% out of the total population in this world are able to change their mind-set once it is set. One big reason is also that 9% out of those 10% never will come to know that their minds can be changed.

Extremely dedicated minds and tough determination to do something, no matter what. Is also a kind of mind set people have and they are the ones who can break their belief patterns. These people also can be predicted. 

Not just the subconscious mind of people wanting to read future, matter. But the one’s who are reading fortune also have a subconscious mind. And subconscious mind is connected to the Spiritual infinite world which has all answers to problems of the finite world. And so the intuition that these future teller’s use gets connected to the infinite world through their sub-conscious mind. And helps them to see clearly what’s going to come up in future. So fortune teller's who really have a clear intuition and can tap into it to see the future, can be depended upon.

How to handle people depending on fortune tellers -  

Phew! this is tough. I have seen some people going extreme. I know when predictions go true in extremely dire circumstances; tremendous faith is born in the fortune teller as well as their method of predictions. I too have got such results where people who were terribly under crisis and were immediately saved by my Tarot readings. And that just made me a saviour in their eyes. Well to help people feels great but to become a saviour is a bit uneasy to accept. I mean a Tarot Reader is a normal human being like their clients. Its just their knowledge and intuition that helps them to dig  out life-saving answers. Then why to consider them someone great. God is the one who makes and guides our intuition, if you feel overwhelmed by the fortune teller’s predictions accuracy be thankful to the divine for helping them with their intuition. And not the fortune teller himself/herself.

Try to deal with these people tactfully, you can take in the appreciation. But let the Divine only get the glory of the miracle your intuition has brought into their life. 

How to handle non-believers - 

Bingo! these are the one’s you might find difficulty dealing with. Its not because that they don’t believe in your fortune seeing science. They are so determined that “future-seeing” does not exist that they might bring down you on your profession. Just to make you agree that what you are doing is totally bull-shit. And that you should shut your store and start living a more free life without depending on future seeing or without fooling people. :D :P 

lol. There are people like that as well. And I must say there’s nothing wrong in them. There are various kinds of people in this world. And amongst them there is a tribe that has been given everything very easily. Whetever they chase gets in their hands after a little struggle. And these people are the ones who will never believe in your profession. Because they will say you will get whatever you want. Thats true. But at the same time there are also these other type of people in this world that just keep chasing something, fall… get up… again fall… do that 10 times and then end up into a fortune teller’s office. 

What’s the difference between the two, well that comes out as a detailed explanation through the Tarot or some other means when a person in need asks. There are also these non-believers that have become non-believers because of believing too much into fortune seeing, and then finally nothing happened according to what was predicted. They finally conclude that nothing like that works or exists. And so they too become non-believers.  

Its okay if people don't believe but its difficult to deal with people who don’t believe in your profession and who are determined to scare the hell out of you. They try to uproot the knowledge roots of your fortune telling method, by picking your brain too much with blunt questions. Result a frustrated you, wanting to run out of your office in search for some help. 

Well I too have had my share of client’s/people coming to me wanting to ask weird and straight upfront questions that baffle me and question the validity of existence of my profession. I had few people question me or tell me; “look Priti I don’t believe in Tarot. But I still want you to bring your cards so that I can SEE whether its really true or not.”. Well see decipher the words, the person says they dont believe in what I do. But still wants to see whether it is true or not. So if they are just non-believers and still you try to make them believe they will incessantly pick your brain upto a point that you’ll give up. I usually tell them that “My profession is to help people deal problems with Tarot Predictions. If you don’t believe in my profession its okay. I am fine with it. My profession is not to make people believe in Tarot.” That’s it. and the topic closes on a positive happy note :) If people have determined that they are not going to believe in any future telling methods then there’s no use showing-off your skills in front of them. They are not going to get impressed anyways. All what happens is, you will feel drained off because you just could not prove your point in front of them.

3 simple Spreads for beginners

3 simple spreads for Beginners -

Hey welcome back to this week’s interesting Tarot treat. I wanted to offer you something different then usual, and so thought of Spreads! Spreads are yumm on toast as well as on your Reading table as well :) 

Kidding! Well As a beginner I sometimes struggled and used to get baffled while Tarot reading. Difficulty was to choose a particular spread for me while I knew there were many spreads existing. Tarot Spreads and the depth they offered was also confusing. Some spreads had just few cards and they said it offers great depth. And some spreads had many cards and they said that it could be used for minor day-to-day queries as well. I had the mis-conception that less card spread was used for minor reading/questions and larger spread cards were used for deep questions. Whereas some part of this is true, but its not always the case. Larger spreads can offer more details, though some of them could be used for day to day readings or minor questions as well. 

Spreads and readings for a total beginner can be totally confusing and mind daunting. The challenge of memorising the 78 cards wasn’t enough that the big bad world throws to you another challenge of “Spreads”. Doesn’t matter, you need to stay cool, and keep reading this post. You need to first get down and decide which spreads you are gonna use. Write it down! I am not kidding, at first you will need to do all this school kid typo work to help you stay focused and get it all right. 

One Card Spread -

 This spread/ reading can be used for minor as well as serious questions. Ofcourse you cannot call it a spread, as it doesn’t look like much of it is around.

One card reading can be easily taken as just the solution, or you can decide for yourself what that one card means for you. 

So if you are a total beginner, a thousand questions will stir up in your mind as soon as you pick up and start shuffling the deck. And so when you pick out the card you will be confused what it means. So just before you do any reading, I would suggest you that you first write down the questions you are going to ask that one card reading.  This will help you to stay focused on your question.

Once you pull out the card, you know what it stands for. 

One card reading can be used for a variety of purposes, to understand depth of a matter, to understand the question, to understand what’s being said and what’s not being said etc.  

Two Card Spread  - 

This two card reading can also be used as a solution or as an answer to client’s or to your question. This reading will be giving you better depth. But if you are a total beginner and want up to the mark answers and get confused with more card, stick to one card reading for sometime. 

Two card reading can also be used as 1st card for getting the solution to current problem, plus the next card telling the future when the solution step is taken. 

Three Card Spread - 

Three card spread is the most versatile spread, it can be used for a variety of purposes. Whether you want a quick reading or an in-depth reading this will work. Ofcourse the depth and detail that a large spread can bring cannot be acquired by this 3 card spread yet, you  can always use this to help you get quick readings. Its perfect for beginners to help them go deep with 3 cards and deliver a good weightage reading for client’s concerns.

A three card general reading can be 1st Card = Past, 2nd Card = Present and 3rd Card = Future. Which is widely used by most of Tarot Readers around the world. This spread can also be used in few ore ways… here’s it.

Present and Future Spread -  

1st Card = Present, 2nd Card = Guidance for Present concerns and 3rd card = Future. This spread can be where the first card is the present card or the card that shown the problem that is concerned. Then the 2nd card will show the guidance for the 1st card, and the 3rd card will show the outcome when the guidance is followed.  

Problem and Direction Spread -

1st card is showing problem, or situation at hand. 

And the other two cards will show two different options for solving or handling that problem at hand. And then the Querent has the choice which solution to choose. 

Now the two directions that will be shown by the cards will also help to decide which direction is better, or whether both directions are good. And it depends upon the preference of the querent where he wants to go and which direction he prefers and why. 

These are the basic three spreads that I feel will be good for everyone, especially for newbies as beginners as you might find it difficult as a beginner to use the cards effectively with spreads.
